Hybrid potential for binding

Hello,

I have a curious question: in the output file, there is a line mentioning "hybrid potential for binding with lambda" in range 0-1. I know this is rather simplified, but does that mean, that the workunits with a different hybrid potential have a different chance to be practically useful for the project in the long run, e.g. units with lambda = 1 would be highly useful for the research?
It's not that I would plan to deliberately avoid or abort specific workunits, I am just wondering what it means. Is there any simple explanation, for me as a non-biologist, on the importance of this hybrid potential?

Thanks!
