Happy to contribute to a team, just not interested in the team-captain's thoughts landing in my mail box, so left the mail box unticked, trusting this will remain the number 1 rule and does not get overridden by the new functionality.

Which I've filled with a junket, to force the hand in not receiving anything.

Double fortunate for me my since 2005 cruncher email address as base for my CPID, is being rejected by WCG, to snip the My Profile note:

"Your email provider refused to accept an email from us for the following reason:
no message

You must enter a different and valid email address before we will attempt to send you email again."

Not much adds up, since when I use the recorded email address to recover password and or accounts, it does give a valid response.

Anyway, no mails at all I ever receive against my active crunching account, bar for the on-request password/account recovery, fine to me, but not necessarily for others.

Unfortunatly, this very small feature should have beem implemented years ago when Members started threads with the *missing Captain issue*.

As a matter of fact, there are so many other things that need fixiing. Like those horribly inflated Members count. Great for PR though. Just saw we have 45 active Team Mates when we only have about 16. Not good at all.

Not to belabor improvements that need attention, but I always thought is was odd that you could not list Teams with a ranking number for everyday stats; eg, IBM instead of:

1 IBM
2 Team so-and so
3. Team ETC

You actually have to cut and paste to see how you Team did in Results Returned that day.

The WCG Techs are super great and I have no issue with them at all. Nobody does.

I can go on and I know that many other Members here have a lot to share and discuss prob;ems that need fixing.

I'll close (for now) by adding at you forgot to give a Team Captain the privilege of allowing to make fellow Team Mates a Co-Captain. I an sire you saw that "Small Team Challenge' thread in the Recruiting. You could have answered yet I knew you would not. "NOT" seems to be a Animal Farm Syndrome. And I even did not mention that a Team can get special privileges here. You know what I mean.

To kick out members may be an idea not so bad.
I take my team for exemple. 70 Members have registred since 10-12 years and never had any installed computer. I call them "ghost member". This is the type of member who i should like to kick out.
I sent the captain e-mail to all the members, but only 18 % of the members agree to receive captain email That's another big problem for make come back former members.

Actually, when we look status members, we just can see Current/Retired. It could be good to see Active/Inactive/without unit installed/Retired like this for exemple : (just have to define from how long without returning from WU one becomes inactive, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month ?)
