Very likely you have to log out, if not clean the browser cookie/cache.

Very likely you have to log out, if not clean the browser cookie/cache. This happens on my two laptops I use for work, so they get rebooted/shutdown-restarted a lot.And while I clear the browser cache frequently, I can't just do a blanket clearing of cookies as there are quite a few that I need for work related purposes... Ok, I just tried to post from a clients workstation, where I am absolutely certain have never before accessed the forum before, so any browser cache or cookie issue just can not apply...
----------------------------------------As I think I mentioned before, this Access Permission error in the MIP1 forum prevents me to post some samples of an "Unknown Exception Detected" error that I keep getting on an ever increasing number of hosts on that project... Ralf |

Now it's my turn to be unable to post to the MIP forum.
Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forums/wcg/addpost on this server. I was last able to post to it on 4 Oct. Running Firefox 56.0, Windows 10. Just cleared cache and worldcommunitygrid cookies, restarted Firefox, logged in, no change. Also tried in Edge (which has never accessed forums before), logged in, same problem. |

Problem appears to be intermittent. Posted earlier this morning (Aus 15 Oct) to the 'WU Characteristics' thread of the 'Microbiome Immunity Project ' Forum as did another user after my post. An attempt to add a second post later still in the morning failed (Firefox), as did trying a different browser not normally used for WCG (Seamonkey).

Edit: Had tried 'back arrow' but my composition was lost - blank Several hours later KerSamson posted to the forum was unable to...

Well, using Firefox (up to date) as my main browser as well and I could hit the "page back" arrow or hit the [Backspace] key to get the posting window back, including the contents I had typed. Copied and pasted this into an editor to save in case this is would have been a temporary issue. But this is now going on for the better part of two weeks now. And it seems to effect ONLY the MIP1 forum.About to try and set up a new dummy profile just to see if I can post from that one...  Ralf |
