I am interested in crunching the smallest WUs from WCG. Momentarily FAHV doesn't seem to supply any new ones.
----------------------------------------Which of the remaining projects supply the smallest WUs then? Thanx much for any advice. [Edit 1 times, last edit by jayrope at Sep 30, 2017 4:50:57 PM] |

Most likely Smash Childhood Cancer.
You can check duration times for CPUs at the following site: http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/results/duree.py |

You have the same access to project stats as anyone else.
Go to the Community section, link up top. Drill into projects, then daily history. Simple math will yield average time per WU. |

I read the answer as no ready-to-eat-meals, but:
1. Dig the information out from the place, the man pointed to 2. Get out your abacus 3. Sit down in a quiet corner 4. Turn TV off 5. Do a math session 6. Share your findings with us lazy ones, please You can do it, jayrope Nice to have you on board |

Thanx guys, so there isn't an already existing chart about this stating clear info for WC projects WUs, i suppose. (?) OK, here you go. These are the average length of the work units for the current projects(not including FAAH - project not currently issuing new units) calculated using the last 30 days. All figures are in hours. Microbiome 2.03 SCC1 1.44 Zika 1.88 TB 10.57 FAAH2 11.12 OET 1.72 MCM 4.07 Cheers

I have not studied this in depth, but it seems my Ebolas take some 10-12 hours after which they stay put
- as if not wanting to leave - for some 2-8 hours at 100%. My Zikas take some 16-18 hours, but they leave the nest right after that. Nothing seems to go as fast on my "devices" as you state, Capt. Joe |

Sorry, SekeRob****, the link leads to the Photobucket message that in essence says:
Swiping your VISA seems to be a hard thing for you to do - as it does for all my old hosted pictures as well Tried myself uploading to a Facebook account and linked to that- and it worked. So far ![]() |

Joe These are merely averages calculated off of all the returns for the last 30 days. I believe you are crunching on an android device (phone ?) which is going to be much slower than the average. There are some crunching on pretty high end machines and they will be considerably faster than the averages. Don't be discouraged by a slow device, every work unit crunched counts. Cheers
