Greetings,
----------------------------------------We are currently experiencing an issue with our clustered filesystem. As a result we have stopped upload and downloads of workunits as well as the BOINC scheduler. When your client attempts to communicate with our servers it will get a message saying that the project is down for maintenance. We are investigating and will update with more information when we know the details of what is going on. - Kevin [Edit 1 times, last edit by knreed at Aug 31, 2017 2:24:48 PM] |

Thanks for your patience. One of the servers in the cluster experienced a brief connectivity loss with the other servers. This resulted in that servers being kicked out of the cluster. This should have only caused the one server to loss access to its filesystem. However, it caused the entire cluster to get hung up. We are working with our support teams to understand both why the connectivity loss happened and why the failure of one node caused an issue for the whole cluster.
However, as that investigation is pursued, the cluster is operational again and we are back to normal status. |

That's the advantage of using clustered systems :-DD
