Another statistics update fail...

Looks like there is a problem with today's EOD stats update. Users look fine but team pages have the right date/timestamp but the data is the same as yesterday's. I've checked on two different machines and see the same thing (one is one I normally don't browse on). Normally, team stats have updated well before this time.

Re: Another statistics update fail...

I agree that today's EOD team statistics date time stamp is correct as expected 8/12/17 23:59:59 (UTC) [7 hour(s) ago] however the data was not updated e.g. it is identical to the previous EOD stats.

Re: Another statistics update fail...

Looks like things managed to run okay tonight. It does appear that WCG's monitoring tasks need a bit of post-Cloud tweaking.

Re: Another statistics update fail...

I did a quick check of the stats and it appears that things are correct now. Are people still seeing issues and if so what issue are they seeing?

We were actually doing our product evaluation of Log Analysis/Monitoring solutions last week and we are deciding which to use. The stats failing to run properly is actually one of the use cases we already had for doing the selection. Another good one is the twitter integration Its just too bad it wasn't already in place already. However, within a few weeks it should be.

Re: Another statistics update fail...

Kevin, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Things were fine after that one day. This was a new one. I do not ever recall the dates updating without the data also updating. Just checking the dates is not going to be enough. Somehow, you're going to need to make sure something somewhere in the data changed too. On a day with an outage at just the right time, you could have just one user have updated data/stats and every one else unchanged (yes, admittedly VERY unlikely). Not sure how that could be done,
