 THOR Challenge 2017 Y2 WEEK 1/4 - DAY 7/7 58 teams registered 58 teams competed The first week of the THOR Challenge Y2 is now complete! A BIG thank you to all the 58 teams and the ~16.000 teammates for their participation in the second edition of this challenge  Invitations for the second week of the THOR Challenge Y2 will be sent shortly to the 20 best teams of this first week  Number of years crunched during the THOR Challenge Y2: ~267 years! Number of years crunched for the day 1: ~40 years! Number of years crunched for the day 2: ~39 years! Number of years crunched for the day 3: ~36 years! Number of years crunched for the day 4: ~37 years! Number of years crunched for the day 5: ~40 years! Number of years crunched for the day 6: ~38 years! Number of years crunched for the day 7: ~37 years! The 20 teams which will reach the second week of the THOR Challenge Y2!  Ranking of the 38 other teams  |

Captains, the invitations have just been sent! I invite you to check your emails to find them. We look forward to seeing you registered for this second week of competition. 20 teams in contention and only the 10 best will be selected! Important message for the attention of the UK team : Due to a technical problem in the search engine of team invitations, I haven't yet been able to send you the invitation to the W2. I will contact the Technical Support of the WCG project. The problem should be resolved within 72 hours, so no worries I will post a new message in this thread as soon as your invitation is sent to you. Sorry for the disagreement.  |

The THOR Challenge 2017 Y2-W2 began from Monday, October 2, 2017, 00:00 UTC. The progress of the THOR Challenge will be published in this thread every day after the daily compilation. Important Note: the first update of the statistics will be published on Tuesday, October 3, between 12:00 and 12:30 UTC. Outside the competition, remember that this challenge is primarily intended to provide more computing time at the World Community Grid project than usual. So, warm up your computers, Crunchers of the W2! Good luck to all the teams and their teammates for this second week of competition!  |
