Good crunching folks!!!!!

The latest tonight on hurricane Irma now has a track that has shifted west. It will probably shift again. As it is, they are now saying that we will have tropical force winds here in the Atlanta area - 45 MPH sustained with gusts to 60 MPH. We should still be on the west side of what is left of the eye as it heads for Knoxville, Tennessee. For perspective, the nearest coastline is about a five hour drive away. This is for the Monday/Tuesday timeframe. If this holds true, I fully expect to lose DSL service for some amount of time. I'll has to check the generator tomorrow to make sure it is still okay. If so, I can have electricity as long as the gasoline holds out. Tomorrow is time to stock up for a worst case. Like I said, it will likely shift again. However it turns out here, there will be plenty of others far worse off.

Hopefully that thing will make a right turn and head out to sea. This has not been a good year so far. What else is in store?
