For those of you who have seen the news coverage out of Texas, it looks bad! RT is up in the DFW area in north central Texas and should be fine though the rain may be in that part of the state late in the week. judson Somerville MD is down in Laredo if my memory is correct and I think is hopefully fine. NiceMedTexMD was originally down in Corpus Christi which is just to the southwest of where Harvey made landfall but, if I understand correctly, is now in Austin. I believe Austin has had a good amount of rain but not like Houston. Now parmesian is in the southwest Houston area and I have seen reports of some roads in his area being washed out from the rain and flooding. I think he is in the worst risk for folks here with MOT but hopefully is okay. My wife does have relatives in the north and northeast parts of Houston but we haven't heard any bad news yet. The situation there is FAR from over. Most of the Houston area has already had about 2.5 FEET of rain and will likely get that much more in the days to come before this is over. Guys, if you can, let us know if you are okay. Everyone else, remember these guys and their families in the days to come!


We are fine here. Some rain but certainly nothing damaging. I have lots of friends in the Houston area. All seem to be dry but things are getting tense for some of them. Have not heard anything from MOT-Texas friends.


I had figured that but it is always nice to know for sure. Yesterday, the outlook had Harvey moving up through east Texas into Arkansas. Now it's more to the east and the Gulf coast over to Florida is going to get rain from this. The coverage out of Houston is heartbreaking but it is good to see how folks are pulling together and helping each other out. The pictures from further west around Rockport are real bad too.
