...This means that the transitioner which would set these results for members to invalid are not running at this time either. Hope transitioner will back online few hours after other systems going online  . Now I see in BM that "project delayed" upload of finished WUs for 5 hours... |

Comes to show that a lot of what is being stipulated as the big advantages of using a cloud infrastructure, failure and resilience, are not what some people are trying to make the world believe.  Rosetta is down too, though that was planned. But that is no solace to my machines, which are all stuffed up. However, WCG is normally so reliable that I think they deserve a goof once in a while. |

Yeah, I was blaming the Windows10 on my tablet, lol. Then I checked one of my Linux boxes, and it wasn't updating either. Oh well, points and badges are nice, and help maintain an immediate motivation, but the ultimate goal is to help the scientific fields we participate in.

On a personal note, I do have a query over the FAH2 uploads - will you be taking any preventitive actions to ensure that there's no invalids created by the trickle feeds uploading in the wrong order, or is the system fully resilient over this issue? Same Question: 4 FAH2 tasks complete over the night.

Upl explained some 2 weeks or so ago, that the FAH2 trickle upload files get 24 hour grace to ensure the trickle reports match up with the incremental upload parts, then sorted as needed before validating is attempted, but since neither is going up... ;(

Rosetta is working, with new site!, and units are available. I've downloaded a bunch of them I have a bunch stuck in upload. I think they will need to clear up that logjam before they send me any more. I am glad you got some though. |
