make the collation base off more recent data, just as RAC/REC is build off the last 30-60 days. Rob, Thank you for this suggestion. It has been added to the backlog of stat feature enhancements. ErikaT |

With newer hardware, more cores, more threads, you get more points and your team's average will rise as well.
----------------------------------------Join a team using old hardware (few cores, slowly turning in results, more hours of runtime per result) and that team will see its average getting down. My team's average is slowly climbing as we were using slower hardware at the time, many years ago, with less cores. During the move to IBM Cloud I was using a 1 core machine called 'tux-test' and the team's average must have taken a small dip after the move was complete. My team's average was shooting upwards 0.18 points yesterday, still some 30 points behind the Dutch teams that are in first (Beatz01: 303.85) and second (Bad Omen: 300.94) position. Let's see where we stand in half a year ... Maybe a difference should be made between using all time data and more recent data. [Edit 1 times, last edit by adriverhoef at Aug 27, 2017 11:34:47 AM] |

Considering the 'All Time' of the metric, any team that's newer will win it from a team that's been contributing for years and years. Well, today, team top40.nl, established 23-04-2010, moved to the first place, thereby beating Dutch teams "Beatz01" and "Bad Omen" and really blowing them away from their top positions at the All-Time Team Statistics for The Netherlands as calculated for the Average Points Per Hour of Run Time:

It's half a year later now - time to have another look …The All-Time Team Statistics for The Netherlands table is showing that my team top40.nl is still in the lead after moving to the first place on 27 Aug 2017. The current score for the Average Points Per Hour of Run Time is: 1. top40.nl 312.61 (Created 04/23/2010) |
