Don't throw away your old hardware :-)

Hello there :-)

So far i've 4 computers running 24/7 crunching data to WCG...

- Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2P, Intel Core2 Quad Q9550, Cooler Master Hyper 212 , 4GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz, WD Caviar Blue 500GB, Common PSU 250W;
- Gigabyte GA78LMT-USB3, AMD FX 6300, Stock BE AMD Cooler, 8GB HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz, HD Samsung 500GB, Common PSU 350W;
- Intel S5500HCVR, 2x Intel Xeon E5649, 2x Cooler Master Hyper T4, 28GB Samsung DDR3 ECC Registered 1333MHz, HD Master - WD Caviar Blue 500GB, Storage - Seagate 4TB, Seventeam Hurricane 1000W;
- Intel DG45ID, Intel Xeon X3220, Zalman CNPS10X, 8GB DDR2 800MHz, SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, Common PSU 200W;

2 of my good power supply's burn couple days ago, Seventeam 850W and a Thermaltake TR2-RX750 :-( They're at maintenance to see if i can save them, good PSU's :-)

I do have fairly cheap energy bills here, so, the point of this thread is:

If you have some old hardware laying around getting rusty or thinking in doing a cleanup and trowing some old stuff away, please, if you're able to, check Intl. Shipping rates, if possible send those my way, i always have mobos, processors, memory, psu's from various platforms around that came from client upgrades and etc. laying around...

Don't trow away, let's put all those to good use, so far i was able to get 4 machines up to crunch WCG, maybe with your help we can get many more together.

I'm doing some renovations at my house, for now all pc's are at my bench with my main machine i use for work, later on they will get a dedicated place under my stairs, when i finish up the electric installation they'll get more organized :-) ^^

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this, and, please remember me if you're going to trow away something in the future, if you're able to help, it will be greatly appreciated :-)

Cheers ^^
