Any update on when the new workunits may start flowing? I seem to remember when they did something similar to this several years ago that they drained the system of all the old WUs first. That may take another week or more if they do that here also. |

I'm 16 days away from getting Sapphire for this badge. I have to keep asking myself, am I crunching WU just to get a new badge, or am I crunching WU because I want to help the scientists smash childhood cancer. I think the answer is some of both.

I'm 16 days away from getting Sapphire for this badge. I have to keep asking myself, am I crunching WU just to get a new badge, or am I crunching WU because I want to help the scientists smash childhood cancer. I think the answer is some of both. I ask myself that same thing every time I look at my 16 hours away from silver badge  |

I just got one more, but I need quite a few WU to get my 16 days. Badge hunting is fun, but helping the scientists is satisfying to an old Geezer like me. I would like to have a PH.D and be one of the scientists, but I've had a good career with my MS in Computer Science, both in industry and as an Adjunct instructor.

Hi. It's been a while, any ETA on the new work start up. I was wondering the same. I expect that deltavee may be correct: I seem to remember when they did something similar to this several years ago that they drained the system of all the old WUs first. That may take another week or more if they do that here also. Looking here it would appear that the system is not yet drained of the old WU's.
