Professor Carlos Muskus etal. gave a presentation today at WorldLeish6 in Toledo Spain about their work so far using World Community Grid results from their Drug Search for Leishmaniasis project. Look for session C-1341. The web site for the conference is at WorldLeish6 .

WCG techs: Could you make this update appear in the "News" section of the site? We only post more detailed, formal, project updates in the News section of the website. Dr. Carlos Muskus has found a collaborator in Brazil who will try to synthesize 5 compounds they would like to test against Leishmaniasis. Synthesizing such compounds can be a very lengthy and difficult process, so we wish them luck in that endeavor.
