I'm able to process work units but not able to return results. I have about 60 WCG results in the "Upload: Pending" and "Upload: Retry in" state.
I'm using Windows 7, and version 7.6.33 of BOINC. I'm running SETI@home (since 1999), rosetta@home (since 2006) and WCG (since 2007). I rebooted; I reinstalled BOINC; I changed to another proxy server: SETI@home is working normally, rosetta@home is working normally, but WCG still will not return results. I disabled WCG from getting new tasks because of IBM's pending move to the cloud, but this should only affect download of work units not the upload of results. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions! Recently found Avast doing the nasty on my, blocking the WCG website entirely, but only in combination of Office+IE11, and latter is what the connection settings control, so that could be the places to look, firewall too.

I'm still experiencing the same situation: all projects -- except for WCG -- are receiving work units and returning results.
As the last resort, I RESET the project which killed all WCG tasks and deleted all WCG files. It is supposed to download new work units, but the project just sits. I then REMOVED the project, and tried to add it. I chose "World Community Grid" from a project drop-down-list, the URL is pre-defined as "http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/". BOINC Manager then attempts to connect to the project: Communicating with project Please wait... and fails with the error message: Failed to add project Please try again later. Click Finish to close. All other projects are chugging along happily. John |

Would not be necessary but manually try https instead of http in the url. Of course WCG requires membername/wcg password, not email/wcg password.
