I have 14,612,295 WCG credits for work done. That is 2,087,470 BOINC credits. Now, I see that WCG has ben dropped from my credits at BOINCStats.

Well, what you are talking about? As far as I can see, you have yours 2 MM BOINC credits https://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/4099695/projectList

You also have two separate accounts at BoincStats. One with WCG and one without.

Heavened we heard this before? There's 2 basic rules to keep things together at BOINCStats and all other BOINC statistics websites.
1) You must have a single device that has BOINC active with all your projects attached 2) All project accounts MUST have the same identical, lower case, email address! Only then is it assured the [email address derived] CPID, Cross Project ID, remains the same for all projects, the KEY ITEM used for consolidation, everywhere. So, if there's someone to blame your sig got messed up... |

You state "2) All project accounts MUST have the same identical, lower case, email address!". Not true for WCG, and that is 2,000.000 credits I want under my proper CPID
----------------------------------------db9cfeccc57a5f550c85849a5cc8f9c6. They are under 2899ea0bfdd5b39e3f54d084d1af3bb3. That is wrong and I am asking that tey be shown under db9cfeccc57a5f550c85849a5cc8f9c6. Before today, I had never even seen this errant CPID. Any help will be appreciated. I do a lot of work for WCG on my blog and I want my BOINCStats URL for user signature graphic to be correct so that they can see what I have done. |

I doubt that your complaint will change anything. It's all about the cid that are created when you sign up for a project with your email.
----------------------------------------It was all said above. With 2899ea0bfdd5b39e3f54d084d1af3bb3 you are signed up for Einstein, WCG, Rosetta and Leiden. With db9cfeccc57a5f550c85849a5cc8f9c6 you see all your other projects. Edit: CPID-Explanation and CPID-Split Enough said. You've got it in your own hands... ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Eric_Kaiser at Apr 4, 2017 2:46:36 PM] |

Yes, I created the problem myself, trying to change an email address. I have changed back all but WCG, because that original email address no longer works. BUt I left WCG with the new email address because I do get email from WCG. Apparently it does not matter if the email adress is valid for BOINCStats or other BOINC projects, it is just an identifier, so I assume that the projects beyond WCG, namely Einstein, Rosetta, Leiden and CPDN, will move back to where they belong.
----------------------------------------I have adjusted my signature at WCG to reflect the second CPID and WCG will show up for me. The one distress I still have is that even though I have not actively crunched for some time, I remain well above the 99th percentile of all BOINC for all time. This means that the use of Public Distributed Computing is not growing. Thanks for all of your help. |
