Out of curiosity how do go about querying the system to get the Message "No tasks are available .... In BOINC Manager, menu / Tools / Event Log, or Ctrl-Shift-E. |

Thanks Tony... To keep my machines busy I opened up the spigot for 30 minutes and got 90 FAH tasks , 1 FAH2 and 0 HSTB. I hope SCC starts up again.

I haven't received SCC since last night... I tried adding FAAH but it also seems to be out of work (in fact, only some 4500+ tasks have been returned today).

This time, it's really irritating for me... I usually take the voids in the product/application crunching with grace, but this time around, I have access over the weekend to an 8 core machine which I rarely have access to. My thinkings were "Great ! Now I can crunch all weekend long and get a good start on SCC". Now it seems that pipe dream will be gone.
---------------------------------------- Oh well, since FAAH/2 are SNAFU also, then I guess it's going be Zika for what's left of the weekend. EDIT: this is nice... now I can't get WUs from OpenZika either, don't know about any of the other projects. Talk about a golden opportunity to get some crunching done that's gone down the drain EDIT 2: Two crunchers down, one to go CJSL ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by cjslman at Apr 30, 2017 5:41:17 PM] |

Yup, it looks like the feeder is down for all projects. And the entire WCG staff is missing in action...

I'm sure that there used to (may be there still is that I'm not aware of) of the CA's leaving a message for the WCG techs to have a look/respond to this situation. If not that, I seem to recall that there were automatic alerts sent through to their phones - I'm assuming that IBM have cut back on all of this, and thus, no one who's able to do anything (i.e,. the techs) knows about this situation...

Can't contact the person, but see one account with 500 cores or so active with 27, twentyseven tasks that have the In Progress state... shortly it will be zero.
"If there is no work for the project's I've selected, send me something else, available". Smells like zero available. Tomorrow is labor day here, don't know about the USoA. |
