When are you going to work over your research progress bars?

You keep scuttling ships [prematurely], and the sailors keep breaking sweats over the broken compass your vessel is steering on:

SCC1 and MCM1 are just a few examples of how much your GPS is off, not to mention FA@H which you are showing to take another 10 years before the known Capsid targets are completed.

Time for you to take the helm of this dreadnought and sail it to the scrapyard.

Re: When are you going to work over your research progress bars?

Sek,

As you are aware, we do have plans to replace the current Active Project progress bars. But due to the team's concentration being on other high priority tasks, it is unlikely anything will be done about the progress bars until 3rd Quarter (at the earliest, estimated).

Thank you for your support and patience,
ErikaT

Erika, I'm aware of a many more things, most of your active / new members are not. Anyway, the medium-long range plan to change, though a little head bang over a long coffee table could surely have concluded this sooner, does not preclude you from maintaining the current with some semblance of earnesty... seriously, MCM1 finishing new work by end of week by what batch information we have been shared, 3 more targets open according the research page though, and SCC1 completing 3 months after commencement and the PR still going... feels like baiting, join , but too late to make any significant contribution. Just kindly do something about the ministry of silly walk numbers on the research page bars.

Sounds to me like, "Due to the large number of problems this has caused, we don't have time to fix this at this time" ;)

Re: When are you going to work over your research progress bars?

Just look at WCG Facebook page's comments

The contributors are just silly enough to believe in the progress bar

Well I do not blame the the page admin for not doing good enough PR but still this had mislead people thinking its too late to contribute...

Re: When are you going to work over your research progress bars?

Just a thought here. It might be interesting to see MCM eventually go over 100% complete and still be running. laughing
Cheers

Re: When are you going to work over your research progress bars?

Hi Sgt.Joe, I was going to post something on the same lines as you've just done - as, according to the Research page, MCM is now complete. How on earth is that receptive to encouraging new crunchers to join and participate in the project?
