----------------------------------------Greetings, We have recently had a call with the researchers. There were results that were getting stuck on the grid and not sending back due to Errors. We have a plan going forward on how to address these sorts of errors and hope to get the flow back up to normal. Thanks, -Uplinger Statistics Date Total Run Time Points Generated Results Returned My guess is that the fix didn't work. Is the news from the researchers that bad that it is still not released? Cheers ![]() ![]() |

My guess is that the fix didn't work. Is the news from the researchers that bad that it is still not released? My guess is that the brief increase was due to a manual intervention not a fix and we're still awaiting a fix. Maybe a 'beta' first. Now the drip of WUs is so slight that my home server alone could handle all of it....Any badge, even a bronze, would be a monumental achievement right now! That said, I have 1 HST WU still stuck in PV and the wingman's expiry time approaching. I guess I can go and fish for the recovery WU at the appropriate moment....or auction off fishing rights ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Back in November we were told "We hope to have a longer update for you after the Christmas break..." by the researchers (link). We have been patiently waiting and it is a bit past that time frame now. Although the last word from the researchers was "Until then, thanks and keep crunching!'", there is now virtually nothing to crunch. Hello all,An HSTB project update was sent to us late last week. It is currently going through the review and revision phases. We will post it in the News section, and a link to it in the HSTB forum, as soon as it is ready. Thanks, ErikaT Thanks, ErikaT |

But they are able to efficiently analyse the heaps of results that will be returned by wcg volunteers.

There appear to be more available today.
----------------------------------------I have 6 in progress and WUprop currently shows 42, the most for ages. Paul.

But they are able to efficiently analyse the heaps of results that will be returned by wcg volunteers. Today we have a huge heap of nine (!) results so far. Can't understand why one would need tools to analyze 9 results. Seems like a waste of research money. Kind of reminds me of the later CEP updates that mostly talked about staff and very little about the current or future processing plans... |

In the time it has taken me to go from 2 years to 3 years in SCC, I have added 46 hours to my HST total and 36 hours to my Beta testing total, involving more Beta WUs than HST WUs! On this basis it is appropriate to describe HST as "Intermittent" rather than "Active". It's fair to assume that the daily run times for the project are more down to the gradual return of WUs over 10 day cycles rather than any regularity of supply.
