I am opposed to childhood cancer. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, but since our governments and industry do not seem ready to clean up the environment and agricultural procedures, I am all for trying a pound of cure. I was automatically signed up for SCC and so far have received:

In my case I suspect that this Smash Childhood Cancer is going to be the same as Help Stop TB.
In that plenty of hype but no work units available. I have only ever received 5 TB work units since inception and so far only 3 SCC. I even tried for just TB for about 2 weeks but never got a single work unit. So getting a badge is just a dream. But I might get MCM to a year badge. Conan |

But I might get MCM to a year badge. Conan There are plenty of SCC1 units available. I suspect it is running at a lower priority than MCM1. So unless you have your machine set to exclusively get SCC1, you may get a lot more MCM1 than SCC1. There were 162,059 SCC1 jobs returned yesterday. Cheers

Cool! The researchers have been continuing their work on HFCC. Could we ask for an update on those compounds from the HFCC project? Are any being developed, etc? Now that Smash Childhood Cancer has launched, we've asked them for an HFCC project update, and they said they will begin working on it. Thank you for your support, ErikaT |
