Greetings.
----------------------------------------The system requirements page: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq needs an update for the reopened FA@H (version 1). Also, though completed, Uncovering Genome Mysteries is still listed in the requirements. As a wish, could a link to the system requirements be placed where a member updates his/her device profile when choosing projects? Thanks in advance, Jay  |

hmmm, on the My Projects page, where I think to remember you're transported during initial sign-up
"Each project has unique minimum requirements. If your device does not meet the minimum requirements for a project, you will not receive a work unit from that project." That said, the Settings/Device Manager part could use a return of a sidebar Min.Req entry that used to be there, albeit on the right side it was. Reading the Profile custom page and My Profile, it is seemingly only deemed relevant for OET1 and CEP2 who both have the link noted. Still think the projects selecting could use a move 'above' the 'custom' button i.e. that piece IMNSHO has to always be visible for various reasons such as it leads to much confusion... customizing sections and then be thrown back after save to any of the other radio buttons, as if customization did not take (it did though, but only the grey and bald will know, and then forget). |
