Re: Work Units Timing

I just found one of mine that is up to 12:22 (hh:mm) with another 1:27 (hh:mm) to go. Percentage complete is around 87%. Very odd compared to all the previous tasks.

Re: Work Units Timing

I saw one that completed at just over 6 hours yesterday. Normally they completed around 1:10 to 1:30. There was a drop in average WU completion time from that 1:30 average to 1:10 average.

Re: Work Units Timing

Check the number of tasks in the work units. We are getting units with unusually large number of tasks. I've received two units in the last few days that run 24+ hours. I'm crunching one right now with 166 tasks.

Re: Work Units Timing

Anne-Sophie,
Once on the WCG website, click 'My Contribution' (upper right corner), then click 'Results Status' (left hand side), then select Project Name = OpenZika and Result Status = Valid. Optionally, also select the Device Name that runs OpenZika apps.
When ready selecting, click the 'Filter' button.
Recent results should appear.
In the column 'Status' you see the word 'Valid' many times below each other, next to several workunit names. Find a workunit name with a high CPU time. On that same line, click on the word 'Valid' to open a window with the results status for that workunit.
Now you should be able to read the number of tasks.

Cheers,
Adri

Re: Work Units Timing

For a job running you look in the slots/# subdirectory for the stderr.txt file. As has been explained by The uplinger, the number of jobs packaged are based on prior known runtimes statistics, and those are permanently sulking behind. whistling
