I was looking at WCG Recent Reseach Dashboard when I notice that mcm have normal feeder priority, and fahb and zika have medium. ugm is low priority.
----------------------------------------the thing is zika registration date is 2016 while ugm is 2014. also interesting of note is that while HST uses only 17 teraflop, it will end in 1.6 years. How feeder priority is selected? In case I missed it in the FAQ. Request by researcher by their ability to process the result? I might guess FIFO but ugm shows that it isn't the case. And I wonder if once mcm and ugm are done, will HST cranked to normal, so that it can be done and over with, like, a month or something? Or will it not be fair to earlier research considering registration date is 2016? Or does OET deserves it because registration is in 2014? late realization: replace registration with launch. |

Basically there are a number of factors:
----------------------------------------1) how quickly the scienists release the WUs, oftern depending on results. 2) how quickly the scienists can process the results. 3) how large the WUs take up server space. 4) HW and OS restrictions. 5) plus other factors. Patrick ![]() |
