I love the much faster progress & completion rate today! Has anyone else noticed this?

I have not noticed any significant change. It has been remarkably stable for for the last several weeks.

I hope it is okay to ask the following question in this thread as it has to do with the run-time. My wingmen has returned the task in almost half the time I have. Both results are valid. If possible I would like to know how come my wingmen returned result much faster. My machine is an I 7 5960X stock speed 3.0 GHz 8 cores's/16 thread's Windows Professional x64 Edition, (10.00.14393.00)
----------------------------------------It could be just straight CPU speed is this the case? My result output MCM1_ 0129677_ 1705_ 1-- My wingmen MCM1_ 0129677_ 1705_ 0-- ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Speedy51 at Jan 21, 2017 12:43:01 AM] |

You have a I7 5960x. It has a passmark score of 14523. The high end Xeon chips are giving readings in excess of 20,000 with the highest rating of 25236 for an E5 2679. I also see the OS used by your wingman is Windows Enterprise x64 Edition, which lmakes me think it might be part of a high end corporate machine. You have a powerful chip, but I think any of those high end (wickedly expensive) Xeons are more powerful. If you are using hyperthreading, you might be taking about a 20 to 25% hit in runtime versus not using hyperthreading. Of course you would be getting more work done with the hyperthreading. You do not know if the wingman was using hyperthreading. I think you were just matched against a more powerful CPU.

Thanks Sgt Joe for your thoughts. I find it interesting that a shorter run-time gives you 4 more points than the longer run time does. 104 for my result and 111 for the other task. I assume this is correct?

Thanks Sgt Joe for your thoughts. I find it interesting that a shorter run-time gives you 4 more points than the longer run time does. 104 for my result and 111 for the other task. I assume this is correct? There is almost always a difference of some sort between the two wingmen on the credit claimed (the first number), but you both get the credit earned (the second number). There are numerous discussions on why different machines claim different credits, but in your case the claims are pretty close already. Cheers
