On July 06, 2016, we released a new version of the Help Stop TB application for the Mac OS X platform to address a high rate of invalid results. Unfortunately, we are not seeing the decrease in the invalid rate we expected and are therefore stopping any new work from being sent out for the OS X platform until we have the issue fixed. Workunits already started on the OS X platform will continue to run so some OS X users may continue to get tasks until all copies of the workunits in progress complete.
Thanks, armstrdj |

----------------------------------------I think that your actions are for the best. If you make an announcement here and also on the 'Invalid' thread as soon as you want to try another version - that would be great. Meanwhile I will switch to Zika until HST1 is sorted unless there is any way that I can help to test new versions. Will you issue betas?

Yes OS X will not be started again until it goes through beta, however we are seeing and increased error rate on all platforms and are investigating. This may delay the next OS X beta a bit.
Thanks, armstrdj |

I have twelve (12) completed HST1 WUs each around 24 hours CPU time sitting in PV Jail. Do I assume that these will not be released until the new MAC OSX platform is ready? Is there a date for this?

When can we expect to see OSX WUs return? I was expecting a short Beta program to check the new version of HST 1

The new version was reversed, too many errors, i.e you'll have to wait till the next beta passes.

Do you have any idea when the next Beta is due for release? It seems an age since the Mac WUs were witdrawn.

Am I to assume then that WUs for the OSX platform are permanently suspended? I have not see a WU for months but ironically the weekly WCG update keeps telling me that I have 135 days until my next HST1 badge. This is really frustrating!
