After my vitriol aimed at Windows 8 and 8.1 it's only right that I post this
----------------------------------------Windows 10 is OK As a 7 user I have just acquired a Windows 10 laptop Dear Windows 7 user it isn't half bad It's almost as great as 7 and has a few extra gizmos I haven't tried out as yet So far the most annoying thing has been that double clicking on the clock doesn't expand to a monthly calendar .... but, compared to the nightmare that was 8, I can forgive that  Dave  |

Most of our internet privacy is already gone. 10 removes any that might have been left. JMHO

Is it still OK to know it phones home with everything that you do? Come on now. Why does this falsehood keep getting repeated? Sure, early reviewers rushing for clicks to their blogs propagated this without fulling understing the settings. But surely people aren't still believing this, are they? |

It's not hard to believe when it's true. If you don't think it is then by all means keep using 10 Windows 10 phones home a lot even with all reporting and telemetry disabled

Three more Windows 8.1 systems have left the ecosystem never to see the light of Win 10. Happily cruising along on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

I would not consider Mark Wilson in any way shape or form an amateur. Did you actually read the link I posted and how thorough his testing was to confirm his findings? Ed Bott, on the other hand, is bought and paid for Windows shill. Just sayin.
