Hey everyone this has been driving me crazy for some time, what is the avg FLOPS for WCG. By my math with over 700 million points the last few days we are producing around 500 Tflops. However, I have seen reports of WCG in the “top 10” of supercomputer. Some websites such as AllProject stats show us in the peta Flops while the RAC number they list indicates the 500 Tflop number. While Other Sites such as BAM indicate closer to 485 Tflops.

Wow so if I'm reading the chart correctly WCG is producing about 1 Petaflop a day?

Also, how did you calculate the numbers? I have i like calculating these sort of things. WCG says if you divided World Community Grid points by 1,400,000 gives you the number of TeraFLOPs?
