Time Remaining Stalls at 3 Hours

I got 4 WUs and have noticed that the time left stalls at 3 hours remaining for all 4. The accumulated time keeps climbing, but no there is reduction in the time remaining. I've even seen time remaining start to increase. Its been at 3 hours for the last 12 in the job currently running. This behavior could play havoc with job queues.

"This behavior could play havoc with job queues."

Not really, if you have a v7 client.

The tasks view may be stuck, but what is the task properties telling?
Is Progress % still incrementing?
Could you add <fraction_done_exact> to your app_config.xml (if you have one)? The file just for hst would contain just these lines
<app_config>
<app>
<name>hst1</name>
<fraction_done_exact/>
</app>
</app_config>

Re: Time Remaining Stalls at 3 Hours

Yes, it is on a v7 client on Win7. The reason that I say it could play havoc is that the jobs are running over 50% longer that the client expects. Won't that cause the client to request much more than it needs? The good news is that these do not have a short turnaround time.

I can add <fraction_done_exact>. What does it do?
