Come on J-D B, you only have 62 days to go and 4 cores, so only 15.5 days crunching!

Come on J-D B, you only have 62 days to go and 4 cores, so only 15.5 days crunching! Yes, but it may be a long time coming. I have so few HSTB work units that I allow three other WCG projects to contribute. And you know what happens when I get a bunch of FAH2 work units. Right now I have on HST1 work unit, rqi FAH2 work units, 27 MIP1 work units, and four ZIKA work units on my 4-core machine. ![]() |

J-D B, If HSTB is your priority, then do an update at 16.5 minutes past an hour. That should go again 2 minutes later. If none come, try a further 2 minutes later. That will be 4 updates to include possible resends.
Do the same at 46.5 minutes past the hour and repeat every 30 minutes. You should fill up your cache with HSTB very quickly, especially if you set your device profile to only ask for HSTB and increase your cache to, say, 9 days if your machine runs 24/7 (or a proportion of 9 if less than 24/7). I know all that. I have been doing it for ages.

J-D B
----------------------------------------It has worked for me and for others. There must be a problem with your settings. On the Device profiles page, uncheck all available projects except Help Stop TB, under Project Limits set Help Stop TB to Unlimited and under Workunit Cache Settings, set Cache to 9. Then use the timings I have mentioned before. Once you have sufficient HSTB, then you can re-check other projects. HSTB appears to be a low priority project, which is why you need to turn everything else off temporarily. Mike [Edit 1 times, last edit by Mike.Gibson at May 8, 2019 1:46:14 AM] |

Made it to 10 years. Doubtful that I could make it to 20 years, so I'll stop here.

smeyer Judging from your results, you would make it within 3 months. HSTB has been showing 100% for 6 weeks now and the techs have indicated that is a false figure, so you could well make it. Mike

Mike, I'm estimating it would take me 5-6 months based on the number of cores I could allocate to HSTB. Instead, I'm working to get MIP to 20 years, MCM and FAH2 to 50 years, and ZIKA to 200 years.

Judging by the statements made, you could well have enough time, but we can't be sure. You have a lot of cores running and a lot of targets. Do you have a spreadsheet to control them? Mike |
