I have 2 Lenovo Laptops. The first is getting old and runs 4 tasks at onece with one or two waiting to tun. The newer Yoga Lenovo will only run 2 tasks at one time withe as many as 8 tasks waiting. As a result many of the tasks miss their deadline and I have to abort. The newer laptop is more powerful and should do more results, not less. When I look at disk space only a small portion of that available to BOINC is being used. I have checked the maximum output box.

Start up your BOINC Manager, hit the keys Ctrl+Shft+E which opens the message/event log. Hit the Copy All button and paste [Ctrl+V] into a reply. This will allow us to do a first diagnosis and give advise where to adapt your settings so that less work is waiting in queue [default is like 0.25 or 0.5 days computing's worth of buffering]
