is there a point to finish a WU if I realize that I'll not making it in time? cheers |

If you are within a couple of hours of finishing past the deadline, I would let it finish. If you are day or more away from the deadline, I would abort it. Without know how fast your machine is, or how much it is on or which project you are crunching it is difficult to make an informed decision.

If you are within a couple of hours of finishing past the deadline, I would let it finish. Which means that a late WU may be used for further processing? |

If you are within a couple of hours of finishing past the deadline, I would let it finish. Which means that a late WU may be used for further processing? Yes, you may finish your unit before the next person who is issued the unit even starts it. In that case they will probably get a "server abort" message so they do not waste any time on a unit you already finished. Cheers
