For those of you interested in the science behind the Computing for Clean Water project, Ming Ma and colleagues have published a paper slightly related to Ma's prior paper about water in carbon nanotubes, previously reported here.

The title of the new paper is: "Fast diffusion of water nanodroplets on graphene." It is about the behavior of nanodroplets of water on sheets of carbon, called graphene. Apparently water has an affinity for the troughs of waves that can form on the graphene and this makes the water molecules diffuse rather rapidly compared to some other substances.
