Install windows 10.
Install BONIC 7.2.47
search in forum could not find any help.

Same here, any fix? I've reinstalled, reset the project, still nothing

Smells like DNS is not resolving ... boot boot boot [modems, routers, computers, in that order]

I am facing the exact same problem. Tried resetting the project, uninstalling WCG, reinstalling WCG, uninstalling WCG and then installing BOINC, uninstalled BOINC and reinstalled WCG. Still no go.

Restarted computer, router, modem. All no go.

Absolutely clueless on what might be wrong, any help?

All of the above actions do -not- reset any actual polluted WCG project folder [Detaching and readding WCG with newest 7.6 client seems to clear the project folder though, completely including any user created config files]. Uninstall and delete all content from C:\program files (x86)\BOINC and C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\www.worldcommunitygrid.org

BTW, if you are using the WCG installer, it's 32 bit, which then puzzles on how the program got the 7.2.47 for windows_x86_64, 64 bit label.

The BOINC client does a lookup to locate the URL to using for scheduler requests. It locates this by invoking the project's home page. The new discover experience page did not have this tag present on it which is what has caused this issue. We have just corrected this issue and you should not see this error again.

The first time that you visit our website each day, you will see the new 'discover' page: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/discover.action After that and if you are logged in you will see the normal home page.

The BOINC client when it invokes the home page will always see the new discover page. Since it didn't have the scheduler tag on it, this caused the issue reported above.
