Help Stop TB looks like it is getting off to a slow start (like FAH2) as I have only one WU so far. (It is on my laptop, and the other 2 computers haven't gotten any WUs to Help Stop TB.) It may take a week before there are enuf WUs available to do any real work for this project...

Yea, yesterday was apparently World TB Day. Saw several articles on the various news sites about TB. I fully expect the research team wanted to coordinate the announce/launch with that and the admins had no other choice. I've still got betas for HSTB in PV. It'll settle down into a normal routine like the other projects though I'm getting much less inclined to jump on new projects as soon as they hit (in my profiles, I've opted out of auto-adding new projects). I've got 10.5 months of runtime left to make diamond on FAH2 and have 10 cores working on diamond-10 for MCM. Once I get FAH2 to diamond-5, I expect I'll switch those cores to HSTB then.

EDIT: BTW, immediately after the announce/launch happened, the admins posted a thread about the WU supply being extremely limited. Since they depend on the researchers for new work, it's clear the research team sent them a minimal amount for the launch. I know we can got thru WUs pretty fast and new projects really get jumped on heavily so it's not all that surprising. I can understand the admins rationing what WUs they do have rather than go full open and dry up a few hours later. Not that either one looks very good but they didn't have that much choice.

I have 7 PC running 26 TB wus. Most of the wus ran for over 20 hour without any results dent. I have so far lost 420 hours of computing time for nothing. Many have still over 15 hours to go till completion if I am lucky.
I am going to cancel the wus that have not yet started so you can also loose your time on them. biggrin biggrin

I could start running Rosetta again crying
