Hoping I have the right place for this.
----------------------------------------I watch a lot of youtube videos. Many of them well over 30 mins. The problem is when I pause a video and walk away, my screen saver doesn't pop up and thus my WCG doesn't kick in. Anyone know a way to allow my Screensaver to ignore an active or (preferably) paused youtube video on a Windows 10 machine? ![]() |

No idea. But I believe this is a Youtube feature.
----------------------------------------Also, are you currently crunching for WCG? AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

Windows media player and the like have an option to let the screensaver kick in. Maybe YT has too, or the webbrowser itself.

As far as I can tell, it is a Flash feature, not YouTube and I dont' know how to work around it. I would like to currently be crunching, but have not in quite some time because of this issue.

Only got a pause when Non-BOINC load is under 50% i.e I watch video while crunching...the screensaver is a secondary issue, just using a blank as the dynamic BOINC screensaver eats CPU time (fames can though be restricted to reduce SS load)

So found out it was actually my usb controller and was a known issue that was fixed with the latest win10 update. Problem solved.

Reminds me of the Jacob Klein case where his gaming wheel did funny stuff. IIRC that was a W10 problem and USB driver update fixed it.
