Re: New projects....next phase?

Yes, the Advisory Board met on 9/26. They approved the HIV/Aids project and phase II of the Human Proteome Folding project. We have been asked to hold off on getting out details of the HIV/Aids project until we get closer to the launch date, which we expect to be on October 31, 2005.

The AIDS project will be slightly later than announced. However, keep watching for some updates tomorrow. Have a look at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=4245 for some details.

We will keep you informed on the date of the HIV go live as well.

Re: New projects....next phase?

The launch date for the HIV/Aids project has been moved to November 21. We are testing the grid agent and the website changes right now.

adamziaja

1. The disease is not on our plans only because no researcher has submitted a proposal.

2. The disease has public organizations that supports the disease, such as this one for Crohn's: http://www.ccfa.org/?gclid=CKyk5vf2uKMCFREhDQodq1Taeg

3. Help raise awareness of World Community Grid in this organization by telling them about World Community Grid and having the researchers submit a proposal from this page: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/research/viewSubmitAProposal.do

Thanks.
