Got one that seems to be running fine. It's checkpointing about every 10 seconds (which is the minimum set on my client). Suspended with LAIM off and it came back up fine. Looks like its going to be about 7 hours on an FX-8120 running Windows 8.1.
I do have a pretty big gap in CPU vs Elapsed time (a little over a minute at 10 minutes in) but we'll have to see if that keeps growing as it runs or not. |

I got 1 WU. It will run on a HP Pavilion w/Core Duo 2.2 Ghz with Linux Mint 17.1.
It should start in less than 3 hrs. |

Received 58 on my linux devices. 28 are processed at the moment. 25 are in pending validation and 3 are valid.
----------------------------------------The rest is actually in crunching progress. |

Got and am running 14 of these, all Linux x64.
----------------------------------------All are running OK a little over 1h in, showing progress at 40%+ on the 4GHz+ 3770Ks in VMs in Windows 7 x64 hosts, so projecting to finish at around 3h total, vs initial estimates of 5h+. CPU time vs elapsed is currently only about 10 sec in those. The one Linux host (2600K @ 3.6GHz) is much slower - was about 30% complete at 1h, and the differences between CPU & elapsed time are greater, around 40 sec per hr. (Good CPU vs Elapsed could be an artifact of running in VMs though) But I am not seeing anything near the 10% difference in CPU vs Elapsed reported by Yarensc. [Edit]: Could some of his difference be the time lost between his last checkpoint and the time at which he suspended the WU with LAIM off? [/Edit] One of the VM Linux machines is running 6 betas simultaneously, and its CPU-vs-Elapsed is mostly unaffected. Not sure about performance on its other 2 cores. I've run 4 straight on Ubuntu 14.04.03 LTS and they did 99.4% efficiency, so whatever issue you have is likely local ambient [IMO].

BTW, Ubuntu is the tested platform for BOINC AFAIK, but see no reason why one or the other Linux flavor would vary much, each having their little front end overheads, mine run with Unity loaded, and signed in.

Checkpointing every 10 seconds? What's the value of that v.v. uptime stability? Run 8 concurrent and you have one writing every 1.25 seconds... can't see that as conduce to good efficiency. I know we have had no power-out since at least September 23, which is the day we left and monitor the systems from far away. My WtD is set to 5 minutes, at most, on all devices.

I don't know when it got set that low, must have been reset at some point. I raised it afterwords, but I only got the one beta unit, so couldn't test to see if that was the cause or not. |

14 WUs computed on 3 hosts (6/6, 6/6, 2/8), it looks fine.
