Resource Share

Is there a way to increase resource share of WCG?
I use BAM! to manage my projects but as WCG is an independent download it does not appear on their system so WCG appears to be set at the default 100 like the others but cannot be changed unlike the others.
I would prefer to double or treble WCG as it has multiple projects instead of changing all others to 50 or less.
Can anyone assist with a workaround?
Thanks

In your Device Profiles try changing the Cross Project Settings - Project Weight. This should be what you are looking for.

edit - I have this set at 100 for my WCG profiles and set at 1 for all the other Boinc projects' profiles. It may not make of much of a difference for me however because I only do GPU crunching on non-WCG projects and WCG has no GPU projects currently.

Re: Resource Share

OK Thanks, I'll try that
An alternative that might be simpler is to dedicate my 2CPU laptop to WCG and the 4CPU laptop to the others, though the former has an older slower Intel.

Re: Resource Share

Unfortunately, WCG doesn't play well with BAM; if you even got it attached, you're luckier than most. You will have to change resource share manually at the WCG site. However, your other computing preferences should be okay through BAM so long as they are the most recently updated.
