Mapping Cancer Markers project update, August 2015

The researchers of the Mapping Cancer Markers project have just posted an extensive project update, where they discuss how they hope to give physicians and researchers additional tools to improve detection, treatment and patient outcomes.

Nice update. Appreciate the information. The link at the end Signs of Intelligent Biomarkers also makes interesting reading, detailing some of the problems with gene sequencing and bioinformatics.

That all suggests that they are making good progress, but that there are many more opportunities for crunching. It seems that we will have work for a long time, though I wonder if there will be a break after this portion of the project.
