Hello, trying to select one computer, I had the surprise that all WU's disappeared from the screen. I tried several manoeuvers to retrieve it. To no avail. Getting the "my contribution" screen, it appears the WU's are being crunched nevertheless. How can get them back to the sreen?
Cheers, Paul |

Please tell us each and every step you take [ALL] from being signed -out-, to where you apply the device filter. Can not reproduce.

vep... I assume you are on the Status Result screen. What has happened to me is an issue with the page number I'm on... for example, if I'm looking at page 3 of Pending Validation WUs for project x, and I change the filters to look at project y (which only has 2 pages of PVs), without changing the page I'm on, it won't show me anything (because the project y PVs are only on the first 2 pages). In short, make sure you are on page 1 of the Status Results page !.
----------------------------------------Note to techs: I think this is an error with the way the pages are handled on the Status Results view. CJSL Crunching for a better world... |

cjsl, Tried to repro your way though I knew already, and sure enough when I sit on page 12 and narrow the filter further, the default is to go back to page 1 of 4. Then narrowing the filter again, when sitting on page 4, again a jump to page 1 of 2 [Firefox 39+, lost count]. My thinking was, that was what vep was doing... that's why I asked him to produce the -exact- steps. Just telling us of a problem ["I was rummaging around", sort of] and not explaining what your steps were to get there is kind of dumping a problem on someone else. You'd be meeting the moderators on the StackOverflow forum in no uncertain terms.

Hello, I erased WCG from the Programs panel, then I downloaded the WCG from the homepage, and everything returned to normal (5 minutes ago).

I didn't know there are several pages on the monitoring screen ....
Thanks for caring anyway. So, I don't know either how to assign different tasks to different PC's. Paul |

No, you were in the BOINC Manager? Some accidentally set the 'show active tasks', and suddenly all the buffered work is gone. Hit that button again and you get 'Show active tasks'. Also if you connect to a remote machine and then can't find your way back to the localhost, you might end up with a blank list [and right bottom there is an info to say what computer is selected]. The trick is to leave both fields blank [Host name and password] when wanting to go back, then hit OK. Default you get back to your client on the computer in front of you.
