The uploads seem to have been a bit slow the last couple of days: at least slow in the sense that it takes some time before the uploads start. Maybe its related to the group of small molecules that we're getting now.

Same problem here - since end of last week or so, probably the problem already existed for some time but I only noticed it Thursday.
And it's always the xxx_4 file that isn't uploading, the other 4 files (and all other projects) are all fine!

hmmm, I had the same issue, but as I posted, it went away right before x-files reported. Problem has not since returned, many more reported without any hitches recorded in the logs.

So now I'm wondering, as it seems only related to part _4 [which goes directly to Harvard]. Parts _0 to _3 goes to WCG's servers and these don't show as bouncing. Would certainly try booting the router [power off and wait a few minutes before powering up again], then the computer.

it's very unlikely router-related, because I was last week on a business trip when I noticed that problem for the first time, then over the weekend from my home (of course my laptop got rebooted), and now I am again on a business trip (different city and therefore different router... and another laptop reboot).

I've seen incidents in the past where a file upload is interrupted for any number of reasons and the attempted restart would get an error. IIRC, the folks at Harvard had to delete the partial file upload from their server to resolve the problem. I'm not saying that is the problem in this case but it has happened in the past

Are there knows problems with uploading through a proxy server? I'm using FreeProxy 4.10 for all BOINC connections, and have no problems with all other WCG projects. When deactivating the proxy connection for the device with pending CEP upload and retrying the upload, it immediately works. Re-Activating the proxy comnnection the next CEP upload will stick again

i have still problems to upload _4 file into harvard with message: transient HTTP error

transfer is ok to push it ~3 times...
