I don't know if this will help you out or not but I have 5 servers of various flavors running several different versions of Linux Mint. I have them all plugged into a switch, which in turn is plugged into a Linksys N range extender (W1000, I think, I'll check later). The range extender communicates with my Linksys E900 N router. I had trouble with the previous range extender, a Linksys G model which was problematic and it finally went completely belly up. When there would be a break in the communications with the internet, it would cause some of the WU to hang and just accrue time, but not really process. Since the upgrade, this problem has been completely eliminated. The hookup was truly plug and play. I plugged the power cord in, connected the ethernet cable, it found the router all by itself and away we went.Glitch free for the last couple of months.
----------------------------------------Cheers
Sgt. Joe
