U go to:
----------------------------------------SETTINGS -> DEVICE MANAGER -> DEVICE PROPERTIES under Cross Project Settings -> Project Weight...there is 100 on WCG! same thing other project have...under SETi@home it's listed in: PREFERENCES -> Preferences for this project -> Resource share those on other projects u can put on number 1-100...so they would work X to 100 compared in CPU time with WCG... ;) |

In your BOINC Manager, Advanced view, there's also the Activity menu... even quicker, select "Run always". Be aware though that this is not a good idea for laptops, but a PC should be able to handle that. You might though discover your ears are going to tune into the cooling fan that starts running faster if the PC is in your bedroom. Running as fast and as much as possible requires periodic cleaning of the PC insides... de-dustbunnying. ;) |

I have been running BONIC and WCG for years. In the last month I've found on both of my PC's with Win7 if I set the CPU to 100% in Computing Preference's my PC fans run on high. but only using WCU and/or there tasks. BONIC task don't cause the fans to run on high. My Win8 systems this doesn't happen.
