so here is my deal. I do not set research preferences and don't plan to: That said it seems like FAAH is getting way too many units out.
I recycle old comps for fun and to teach me alt OS's. I see a disproportionate number of FAAH units. Is this just hardware related or what? *the only reason this irks me is that I could miss a possible badge |

FAAH and MCM are both normal priority so you should be getting a more balanced WU load of those unless there is something hardware related. CEP2 is high priority in the feeder but has higher system demands. The other two are "low priority" in the feeder at this point.
----------------------------------------I wouldn't worry about FAAH hogging your resources for much longer as the project is on it's final days of new WUs sent out before a few weeks of resends finish their rounds. MCM looks to expire in November, I hope that gives you enough time for complete your goal. ![]() |

Just curious what your average run time on a FAAH unit is vs average run time on a MCM unit. If you're averaging an hour on FAAH units and 5 hours on MCM, then you'll probably see 5 times as many FAAH units as MCM units to keep the times computing each science in balance.

I recycle old comps for fun and to teach me alt OS's. I see a disproportionate number of FAAH units. Is this just hardware related or what? the thing is that UGM needs P4 systems (actually it needs SSE2)...maybe you have older systems that ERROR on the UGM? so on old systems you can get FA@h, MCM & OET projects... CEP2 will also work (if you got enought RAM), but with WU of few days work... maybe that is what you asked? ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by KLiK at Jun 3, 2015 7:03:45 AM] |
