Security issue

Hey,
I would like to install this software on a number of computer at work.
But i have a little concern about the security.
The computers at work contain a personal data.
I understand and please correct me if i'm wrong that the client application it's an "open source" that mean that "every body know" that it's save to use and the client not ganna stole any personal data, plus it's digital signed by California university.
Am i correct about the client application?
But what about the pocket that downloaded from the server, What guarantee do i have that its 100%(!) secure and that it's not ganna harm my computer and my personal data in any way?
Thanx

Good luck with your new installs.

Re: Security issue

Just remember if they are work computers, make sure you receive permission from the proper individuals to install/run.

Re: Security issue

Or if you have BOINC on a list of approved app...some companies have that, like SIEMENS in which I work in...

But I'm not an admin...so I can only use my computer! wink
