I'm still having problems uploading. Download works OK.
----------------------------------------Edit: Never mind. I shut down BOINC completely and restarted it, and everything changed from "Uploading" to "Ready to report" about 4 or 5 seconds after Boinc started. [Edit 1 times, last edit by littlepeaks at Apr 25, 2015 11:14:01 PM] |

Hello everyone,
We were misinformed by our hosting as to the start time of the system updates. What I thought was an issue with the file system turned out to be the system administrators installing the updates and restarting the servers. Since the start happened hours before we were ready, I was not around my computer to properly stop/start things back up when a server was rebooted. I'm sure there will be some clean up on the backend after it is all said and done, but at the moment the servers appear to be working well and all services have been restored. The changes made were not to our database servers and only to the HTTP and backend systems. TLDR; Server updates that were supposed to happen at Apr 26 @ 0100 UTC started early and completed. Thank you all for your participation in World Community Grid! Please let us know if you are encountering any issues or see anything strange. -Uplinger |

Is the absence of new Ebola jobs related to yesterday's updates? Personally, I'd rather discuss this in the Ebola thread but apparently this is where it goes. The situation still applies as of 15 minutes ago. Eve |

One machine is giving this in the Event Log:
No tasks sent This computer has finished a daily quota of 2 tasks This started immediately after some download failures between 19:13 and 19:18 GMT 25 April. The 3 workunits involved were ugm1_ ugm1_ 11393_ 0251_ 4-- ugm1_ ugm1_ 11393_ 0274_ 2-- ugm1_ ugm1_ 11393_ 0121_ 1-- and all 3 errored with: WU download error: couldn't get input files: <file_xfer_error> <error_code>-224 (permanent HTTP error)</error_code> I was running with a 1.5 day cache so I hope this will resolve itself before it runs dry. The 3 workunits each have one wingman still In Progress - it will be interesting to see if their download succeeded. |

Ha, tasks started downloading on that machine at 8:09 GMT. Thanks, techs or BOINC
![]() The wingman with ugm1_ ugm1_ 11393_ 0274_ 5 completed with a normal Result Log and an acceptable Too Late status, the other errored workunits are still In Progress. |
