Can someone tell me what it means when it says a workunit is "Detached"? I am assuming something failed, but I don't know what happened.

Yes it is attached to BAM.
----------------------------------------It's strange because I didn't change anything, and, it is still working. It just dropped a bunch of WUs as this "Detached". |

Yesterday I explained and many posts before that [actually critically important] to tick a box at BAM in the My Projects list, to "attach new host by default" on WCG line [click it and the box will appear]. Why BAM does what it does I don't know, but if the box is not ticked it will [sometimes/often?] do this to WCG.

OK thanks. Actually, I thought I had it set that way, but I checked, and no.
----------------------------------------So I set that, hopefully it'll be good from here. Never had that happen before, so I thought it was strange. It seems like I've had a bunch go through OK since then, so I'm good. I went back through the boinc message log.
