FWIW the 7990s have been superseded by the R9 295X. The 390s will out soon so it might be worth waiting a while.

Choice of nVIDIA cards would give you a greater range of crunching data...OpenCL & CUDA based... ;)

... were it not, the amount of work done under OpenCL on AMD/ATI is miles ahead of that what can be done on NVidia [unless a miracle happened].

Thanks NP, I'll hold off for now, would like watercooled GPU's so will give time for the blocks to be developed...

Just been looking at these :I want some! but not yet, I have to work out how to get several working in the same machine, slots is not a problem, but space for the rads might be...

Well don't put the rads inside machine! That would be the BEST thing...
Just drill a holes for water hoses... cool

Well don't put the rads inside machine! That would be the BEST thing...

I think it will depend on how many I go for, but I'm thinking of a custom case with a rack or rail to hold the GPU rads...
