Got a new old Samsug Tab3 dual core, set up the WCG BOINC app on it then went into preferences and selected No# of cores changed it from 1 to 2 cores but it does not respond to the changes will not crunch 2 threads at once?

If there is not enough [allowed] memory or allowed storage space, BOINC will run less tasks or not fetch more than fits in permitted disk space. If you start up the client there is an event log. This prints out the basics. It says here, reading from bottom to top, 4 ARM ARMv7 Processor, Using 2 CPUs, which is the setting.
