Greetings all,
BOINC 7.4.27 x64 fails to add world community grid project repeatedly after entering username and password. It keeps coming back with an error about missing e-mail: Messages from server: missing or bad parameter: email_addr I had to reset the project to try to clear dozens of tasks that were idle. That didn't work so I suspended, then reset and then removed the project from BOINC 7.4.27. When I try to add WCG project back, I get the error above. I did try to use e-mail address for username, but just got an error that it isn't the correct username. What is the deal with this e-mail error message blocking connection to the project? I can access the WCG website just fine. Thanks. |

Swell, and all this because the chief developer 'assumed' from the 7.3 version up through 7.4.27 that all sign in names include an '@' in the name, which of course does not apply to wcg, since the email address is not used here for that purpose.
